Words of wisdom

 Well this morning I got up like I do every morning to get ready for work. Garett had already woke up and jabbering in his bed playing. After I got dressed, I went to pick him up and change his diaper. Kyle my lovely husband, was already cranky. He couldn't find something apparently. I just kept tending to Garett. I sat on the bed and was playing with him, and then he started clawing me..he thinks he's getting me...well he was haha!! So I took him over to the changing table to trim his finger nails. He hates me picking, fixing, triming, anything that he doesn't want done he hates it and fusses at me to let him down. Well here comes Kyle out of the bathroom, while I am trying to keep Garetts hand steady, Kyle says...."don't cut his nails too short and get his skin!"

 Damnit I guess I don't know what the Hell I am doing!! Only I take care of him 99.999999% of the time, and I guess I need to be shown or told how to be a MOM!! My thoughts were not pretty when he said that, and I kept triming and trying to keep Garetts hand steady. I just said to Kyle..."thank you O.B. 1 for that insight, since I have no clue what I am doing, and didn't the MANY times before..THANK YOU!!"

He just looked at me, and then said "You just got up in a bad mood!" "NO I was just fine, until you gave me your words of wisdom, which YOU hardly tend to any of Garetts needs. I have done just fine for the last 11 months. I hate it when you say stupid things to me, when clearly I know better! You would hate it too if I always pointed out what not to do, when you don't...like your an idiot with a child!"

He didn't have anything clever to say after that.

10 months old!!

Well this is my handsome lil Garett now!! 8 teeth and ready to run!!

 Time really flies when you have a lil one to keep up with. I can't believe he is almost 1!! It seems like yesterday we brought him home!! He is such a stinker, now that he is pulling up, letting go of the table or any furniture, just way more daring these days!!

                                                                               

Those lil legs are too cute!! Yep he's trying to reach his snack puffs!! I just love this lil guy so much its crazy!!

Happy Thursday

Garett Loves Bella!! She is our littlest Chihuahua!!

Hello all and Happy Thursday!! Gosh I haven't been on here in a while. I thought I would share some pics which I think are darlin!!

Garett is laughing at Dazie on the right and Bella is on the left. Dazie will run and get a kiss and makes sure he is ok. Bella is all about Garett. If he is in the floor she is right there with him. They just love eachother bunches!! Have a great Thursday!!!!!!

Shannon RIP 5-31-10

 On Monday morning my sister in law passed away in her sleep. She had been battling health problems, and now she is no longer suffering. Shannon was 40 yrs old, very happily married and loved her family and friends. She adored Garett and the bond between them was so beautiful. She was always laughing and the life of the party, gathering, whatever the case was, she had you laughing so hard your abs hurt, and crying. She was more than a sister in law, she became a great sister. She had just had surgery 5 weeks ago, and this would have been her sixth week, and able to hold Garett.

This was the sweetest picture of them that I wanted to share. It was taken 7 weeks ago before her surgery and they had a fun filled day.

It makes you appreciate the time we have together and how precious life really is. I have been struggling with her passing for the last 2 days. I had so many things that I needed to tell her. She ment more to me than she knew. We had a rocky road, but it was all worth it. There wasn't a day that I wasn't texting, or emailing her, even calling her. What I would do to just hear her voice, sweet laugh, or Garett lighting up on the phone just hearing her voice.

Next to my grandpa passing, this is the toughest for me. Even harder for the entire family. Please keep us in your prayers.
